Use this report to show which programme benefits were realised during a defined period, which expected benefits were delayed or missed, and which new benefits have emerged. Each entry should trace to the business case and benefits-realisation plan so decision-makers can distinguish delivered value from completed activity.

Application

Benefits become meaningful when customers, operations, support teams or another programme can use the resulting capability and experience the intended outcome. Because different components deliver at different times, reporting should be periodic—monthly where that cadence fits the programme—with immediate communication when a material benefit, shortfall or emerging benefit cannot wait for the next cycle.

Completion discipline

State the reporting or review period, scope, evidence sources and preparer. Separate observed facts from analysis, assign owners and dates to follow-up actions, obtain the required approval, and retain the report with its supporting records.
